(September 21,2023) - In addition to the Tower Crane Committee meeting, Crane & Rigging Workshop attendees next week will have access to tower crane experts in the session, A Bird’s Eye View of a Methodical Tower Crane Assembly & Disassembly. Panelists: David Brown, Co-Training Director, Local 14-14B I.U.O.E.; Dan Durrett, VP, Engineering Services, Maxim Crane Works; Matt Finnerty, Owner, Finnco Services; and JR Moran, Director of Crane Operations, Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC, will explain the process of tower crane assembly and disassembly. Communication, site meetings, climbing procedures, and checklists will also be covered. The Tower Crane Committee meets Tuesday, Sept. 26, 4-5 pm with the session happening the following day, Sept. 27, 2:30- 3:30 pm. Onsite registration is available.
